Looking At Height, Handedness, and Velocity in Pitching Prospects

Whenever I look at a ptiching prospect in real life, height, handedness, and velocity are the first things that I tend to look at. My question is, in OOTP how much do these things matter. Does a 6'5 left handed pitching prospect have the same projectable ability in the game as real life or is height something that I basically don't need to look at in all when making my decision whether to draft a player or not? Also, is handedness work as it does in real life? Is a left handed pitcher more valuable than a righty with comparable stuff. Lastly, does the game incorporate velocity into the "stuff" rating or is it seperate? Thanks guys!

Height does matter for pitching prospects. I believe Markus said that tall pitchers have a better chance of "putting it together". Velocity is incorporated into stuff rating. You'll notice as pitchers age if their velocity declines their stuff will decline as well. And you'll also notice that high velocity rating using coincide with high stuff ratings of pitchers.

I don't have an answer for the other questions.

Lefties are valuable due to scarcity and the platoon advantage. Since there is a small pool of LHP compared to RHP, a league average LHP can have a long career moving from team to team. A better than average RHP may die on the vine just due to numbers.

I stand to be corrected. .. height of 5 ft 10 or 11 prime for pitcher's and weight of 220 lbs for hitters
