Game won't start?
OK I am new to OOTP, I purchased a license, downloaded the game installed it and got the license then clicked the OOTP to open the game and a error pops up and says ootp.exe has encountered a error and the game will not open? Don't know what to do I am running XP SP3 and I have more than enough ram and space to handle the game.

Well after a few hours of pulling my hair out it turned to be the new version of Zone Alarm and it was the free version so I uninstalled it and ootp started right up with no issues so I installed commando firewall and it works OK with it. So please close this thread.

Good to know.. I had the same problem. I got a refund for ZA extreme and uninstalled it from my computer. I then tried to run the game and it worked for the first time. Then I installed the free ZA version and the game crashed again. Going to try commando myself now.

It's actually called Comodo ( firewall ) and the game works fine with it installed.
