And the Costa Rica Dart Frogs ended up being basically just some toads. Just look at how unnerved their mascot looks in comparison to the calm, determined confidence of ours. Act like you've been there before. (over-the-top, pro wrestling-style melodrama aside, congrats to Costa Rica on a great season!)

What a long distance this squad has traveled from its humble F2P beginnings, to getting stuck in Diamond for 4 weeks, to winning that 1st F2P 'ship, to plowing a couple of Benjamins into the team in mid-August to pursue some collections, to becoming a team that can threaten in most leagues each week (but not the Whale League...dear God not the Whale League). And, fitting it was "new money" 100 Lou Gehrig 'The Streaky Horse' getting the season's final hit after also walking off Santa Monica's season in the Division Series.

Let this be a lesson to other "frog" teams out there. You mess with these Frogs and you get the...uh...horns?
Congratulations, my two other teams won perfect titles this week, therefore you ousting us was a bit less painful.

A bittersweet week for my teams, with Doha losing a very contested Division series and Perugia losing the Conference series in 7.

The sweet part was seeing the Great Lakes Squirrels win their 4th perfect title. After winning the wild card game, the playoffs' highlight was sweeping the mighty Orlando Shockers (13 perfect tiles) in the first round. After that impressive win it was all downhill.

From my signature I take that the Raccoons could resist the burning urge to implode, but that is all I can say right now.

This is where the Doubledays usually fall apart.
Doubledays played about as well as the Nationals at home in the current World Series as we were swept!

Congrats to the Renegades!

If you play TCU, that is...

The Everett Aquasox congratulate their amphibious brethren.
