Hey, I'm gonna take the credit that my 'miserly' post got the conversation moving

I was actually kind of thinking the same as Jason, honest! Not game changing figures and in a good cause.

it's all good.... I had read the original post from commish and was mulling it over... you just happened to reply before I did... so no harm in looking at things from all sides...

Gold league:

Waxhaw continues to make the most of their limited OL games and hold the lead.

Do to an insane work schedule I spoke to soon. Coney Island will not be ready for OL play this coming Monday. Their return to OL may be a couple of weeks away the way my schedule looks.

Not sure if this is an omen of things to come in the MLB, but with the new format it looks like a .500 or below team could grab a wild card in the American Conference of our Gold League, then win promotion by taking home the Wild Card series.

I haven't had a lot of joy finding stuff to work with for your idea that wouldn't require a lot of time. Like quicker to draw something up from scratch, which generally takes me ages.

This is the most striking image I've come across and I thought you may like it. Can do whatever with size, shape, colours, text, etc. This version came with a decent gradient, so I stuck a matching border on.

Baltimore leapfrogs into the lead heading into the final stretch. Still anyone's crown to claim (well, except for Aomori who got shafted on the scheduling, and Waffletown who just suck

). OL games remaining:

Baltimore: 6 vs Waxhaw; 3 vs North Bay; 3 vs Waffletown
North Bay: 3 vs Baltimore; 3 vs Greenland
Greenland: 3 vs Waxhaw; 3 vs North Bay
Waxhaw: 6 vs Baltimore; 3 vs Greenland

Diamond Update as of around noon...

Patriots are somehow 67-70 even after getting rid of all their packed perfects. In spite of themselves, they are in the hunt for a wildcard place. They will remain in diamond next season unless they finally start obeying my commands to lose enough to get relegated.
