Just had the servers hang with a few minutes left in a daily PD draft . I haven't made it past the 2nd round in one yet, and that won't help! If we don't get some OL action soon I'm gonna go stir crazy, but I'm not holding my breath for this week.

However, I appreciate that my game has been functioning perfectly well, aside from the server issues. It's a shame to see some of you having the trouble that you are.

Thanks. I just tried this. I made all non-live cards inactive and then I even let the cpu re-organize my whole organization (with just historic cards) and I still get the same error. No way this is working as intended.

Woke up to a nice 15K in the war chest... nice PD win!

Managed to add Curt Shilling (97) to the staff, although no significant change in results. The Barons are 36-46 in Silver and will likely hold on and repeat in Silver next week. Although it's tempting to feel down about that, the one week jump from ENTRY to SILVER was a surprise that still makes me smile. The down side now is I'll probably swim in this pool for a while before something significant happens.

Congrats! I'm up here in Silver too, my team is much worse though, I'm just hopping for some pack luck and for some of my auctions to sell so I can complete the last remaining 20 team mission.

I'm not I've got 5 golds some silvers and the rest are bronze I've just been getting diamond cards through missions, but I've decided I don't want to really play with the live SEs, so I'm in the process of selling a couple off, which should get me to about 58k, then I need to decide between packs, 1 star or several smaller pieces. What do you think I should do? Packs have a lot of value early on so I'm kinda thinking about them

Just the ones I get from tournament packs + whatever points I have to add to them. I've also done all the pack missions and knocked out all the bronze BaL missions for extra packs. Not a single point is being wasted this year.

I've made probably over 100 packs this week alone from iron tournament success. This gives me fodder to sell at cut-rate prices, and gives me chances to pull some really nice things.

Considering right now that pitching is pretty bad across the board due to the strong tilt towards offense in tournaments, what I have liked to do is run guys with enough stuff and control to offset any potential movement issues. Pitching is going to get crushed, no matter what you throw out there, so it then becomes incumbent on your pitchers to minimize the damage wherever possible through strikeouts and not self-inflicted mistakes like walks and hit batsmen.

The fact that pitching gets beaten so badly means you cannot run a 6-man bullpen like you could in previous games. Your bullpens will get utterly wrecked from fatigue and that's essentially the end of your tournament without anything to show for it. 8 relievers are absolutely needed.

Right now, you build the best team you can around as many impact bats as possible! It's really worth looking at some tourney winners rosters if you're scratching your head.
