Special Pack Idea - Historic Only

We haven't had a Special Pack promotion in a while. I was wondering how much enthusiasm there would be for historic only pack, something I'd love to see. It would certainly help the ridiculous lack of Iron Unsung Heroes.

I'm not sure what an appropriate cost would be, maybe 5K per pack?

The scarcity of Iron Unsungs is definitely a deliberate choice so I don't think having special historical packs will help with that. If that was a goal then you could just up their drop rate in standard and gold packs.

I also think that it'll need to cost a lot more than 5k. Historical cards are generally a bit better than their live counterparts and there's not really any risk of getting a pack full of irons+mediocre bronze.

25K would also be obviously way too much considering drop rates. 10K would probably the upper limit.

Even at 10k, almost any diamond pull would be +EV.

I like the idea. And perhaps a Live-only pack with a discounted PP rate (perhaps 800PP) might also be a good idea.

It feels deliberate to me. Iron Unsung Heroes are common in starter packs but their drop rate falls to nearly non-existent in standard/gold packs. If a lack of Iron Unsungs is a problem then the solution would be to improve the drop rates in standard/gold packs.

Iron Unsung Heroes appear to drop at normal rates in starter packs, which have 20 iron cards, so 30% would play out to (on average) six historical irons, and of course there is only one sort of historical iron card - Unsung Heroes.

It might actually make people buy gold packs if the drop rate for historical iron cards would be normal in those, because you can easily move an Iron Unsung Hero for low-to-middle three figures right now; or you might want to complete your collection of them.

Yeah, maybe live packs and historic packs.... 1,000 for the lives and 3,000 for the historics.

I wouldn't mind but I felt like they have their own ideas before this rum. I know there are some lives (to say the least) but the others are sort of special even if there value ain't so high.
