Continue a season

I am a longtime OOTP fan, but first time thread writer.

I have a saved fictional league game on OOTP13 that I am several years into (and have thousands of hours invested in. I would love to purchase one of the new seasons, but I don't want to lose my league with its players, teams, and personalities. Does anyone know if there is a way to transfer over my information to a newer OOTP so that I can continue my previous game while being able to use all of the features of the newer OOTPs?

You can certainly transfer/import an old game save into a new OOTP version, but I believe it can only be one version at a time (example being OOTP15 to OOTP16). So in your case, you may have to transfer from 13 to 14 to 15 and to 16.

Don't quote me on this, but you may be able to use the free demos to do this before buying the newest game.

If you are going to wait on 16 to come out you can download and install the trial versions of 14 and 15... Then import your league from 13 into version 14, then import it from 14 into 15... Upon the release of version 16, you can then import your league from 15 into the newest version...
