separate Ties and overtime losses
if we look at the stats of goalkeepers of the NHL we see Wins-Losses-Ties-Overtime Losses (W-L-T-OT), overtime losses (defeat which gives a point in regular season) appeared in 2005-06, it would be appreciated by separate overtime losses and ties in the future for those who like me play in historical mode.
Thanks |

I will say this has been a bit aggravating. I've thought about even eliminating OT in regular season for that reason. I mean, I'd like to play with 0 points for an OTL and 1 for a tie, but if you do that...it comes out bizarre in the standings.

losses in overtime which gives 1 point to the loser appear in 2005-06 and only in regular season for 85 years, and always in the playoffs a losses in overtime is a losses, and not a losses in overtime (OTL).But the game in historical mode gives overtime losses (OTL) in regular season and in playoffs.
A little irritating for those who play in historical mode like me, to see George Vezina having overtime losses (OTL) in his stats in 1917 when the regulations will be approved by the NHL in 2005-06. Last edited by thim1960; 02-11-2020 at 08:38 AM. |

A losses in overtime which gives one point is entered on the goalkeeper's stats under OT, on the other hand a losses in overtime which gives no point is entered in L.
For those who play in historical mode, the NHL added the OT column to signify the defeat at one point in 2005-06. |

Yes, I have noticed the same thing. Also, when looking at your record against a certain team prior to playing a game, the records will show incorrectly there as well if a game was lost in overtime (for example in 2000, if I won 2 games against Buffalo and lost once in overtime, the record will read 2-0-1). |

The game applies the rules of 2005-06 concerning overtime (1 point for a losses) a defeat in overtime before 2005-06 was a defeat, I hope it will make the correction for those who play in historical league like me.
