Split Season Schedules
Are these remarked and/or coded differently?
Does the schedule include all games or just the first half and then OOTP uses that first half schedule again for the second half? |

As I understand it, you do not have to do anything special. If you elect to use the split-season format for a league, OOTP will automatically split the schedule on its own at half the total number of games set. E.g. if you use a 140-game schedule, it will split it at the 70-game mark.
Note that if you use the split-season, you CANNOT view the first half or second half standings on their own. All you can see is the overall standings. Tie-breaking is questionable for first- or second-half division ties. You also cannot have anything other than a simple first-half versus second-half division winner system (e.g. the format the California League used to use, or the one the Midwest League currently uses, are off the table.) |

This has been the case—and I kid you not—since the split-season was first implemented way back in OOTP 2006.

Have any improvements been made this year in split season standings?
