News articles/notifications for players breaking league records?
I've always enjoyed the milestone articles, such as when a player hits his 300th home run, or 2000th hit etc..
But something I would really like to see is more attention paid to players breaking all-time records. For example, in my fictional league started in 1901 (simmed to 2015 where I became commish/viewer, now in 2033) Joe Hice broke the all-time career saves record in 2028. But there was not a single mention of it in a news article. I basically had to follow it in the leaderboards section. Same for players breaking the all-time home runs record etc.. I would be awesome to also have the news articles track their progress. For example, "Diaz has just past so and so to move up to 10th all time in career hits." Wishful thinking on my part, or can this be implemented? I can't imagine it would be easy to code, but for us fictional players it would really add to our experiences! I agree. I'd like to see articles when players break records.
As far as moving up the list you just have to keep your eye on the out of town scoreboard news ticker. This is tracked when playing in-game.

I do know for the fact that such articles already exists for some records (Home Runs, Strikeouts, hits, Wins), but yeah including record-breaking articles for other records would be nice

I would like to see a build up of milestone records .... Much like how they keep you up to date with hitting streaks. Think about all the excitement of the buildup with Pete Rose breaking the 4,191 hits record that was building up fast once he broke 4,000 hits. Ripken jr games streak build up. I think something like that would bring more excitement and more personal.

Cause it still happens in real life, I want steroid storylines again. And new/more scandalous storylines. Also clubhouse house drama storylines

It's hard to believe that a player would keep on using after two failed steroid tests, but it really happened. Baseball's version of the Darwin Award.
