MLBPA license and what it means
The forum's "subtitle", so to speak, is as follows:
Everything about the latest Out of the Park Baseball - officially licensed by MLB.com and the MLBPA. Is the MLBPA license for player likeness purposes, or is there another reason for it? Also, are minor league rosters impacted? |

MLBPA only deals with players in MLB.

So does the MLBPA license basically allow you to ship facegens and photos of the player with the game instead of having to download them as separate mods?
If so, I'm curious how that will work. I assume MLBPA will provide photos, but the facegens? Will you just incorporate the facegens the modding community have already put out there? |

The facegens are created & based on high-resolution player pics, so the quality is better than what mods offered before. |

So does this mean that you'll have Facegens for every MLB player that ever put on a uniform?!?! Obviously that doesn't cover the minor leaguers that never made it to the show. If you enable the historical minor leagues, I assume those players will just get auto-generated Facegens? Unless a modder decides they want to tackle doing faces for EVERY PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL PLAYER EVER! This is amazing... having trouble digesting it all. Thanks Markus! |

Ha, no. That would be too out of this world I guess. We'd have to hire 10 guys to get those done ... It's only for current MLBPA players.

As long as we don't have to edit fake names for Barry Bonds and Kevin Millar this is OK I guess

Does this license have any additional effects on storylines beyond banning drug suspensions?

I love Mogul, but it's way behind OOTP.

So when a guy is sent down does his facegen vaporize?

Put it this way...
If this was a marathon, OOTP would be at about 100 yards from the finish and Mogul would be just now waking up and realizing "HOLY HECK IN A FISH POND!!! I OVERSLEPT!!!"
