.dat file editor
This post from MLB Manager from two years ago has me wondering: has anyone considered creating a similar .dat file editor for OOTP? I know TonyM had created a similar editor years back—for either OOTP8 or 9.

I don't understand that post. You can already add a player to the database. Or edit anyone you want through a number of mechanisms either using the create player feature, by importing a player into the db? Anything you'd want to edit can be imported via CSV or edited through text files. No need to edit .dat files.

Hmmm...I always knew OOTP to export csv files, but never to import them. Maybe I missed something there.
