Duplicate Player Issue

I am just curious, I am in an offline league where one commissioner handles the sim. We have had issues with the roster for months. The roster keeps auto creating new players. We used the text file and edited that to create the rosters and import them (just like we did in OOTP 14) but it kept creating duplicate players that did not have the real player attributes. For instance, Mark Teixeira was drafted by the Dodgers and was there along with a Teixeira on the Yankees. It happens with multiple players on every single team. Is there a way to fix this?

I submitted a support ticket and got no response (I actually a few weeks ago got told that if I didn't respond to the ticket it would be automatically closed and there was never a response to it in the first place). I thought I posted something here but apparently not as it is not in my post history. I would appreciate any help with this issue.

Sounds alot like you messed up player ids..no way to tell unless we could look at your original and edited roster.txt files.

http://www.filedropper.com/ignmlbroster that's the file we used. I wasn't the only one to make the roster. Two others attempted to make the rosters and we all encountered the same issues. I honestly don't know what the problem is.

So, does anyone know what the issue is? If it helps, the original roster file we used was just a game started and exported text file, just like in OOTP 14.
