Question about the Depth Chart

1. What does starts never mean? Does that mean the player will never start there?

2. If I place a player in the defense sub, will the AI think that that player is higher on the defensive spectrum than my starter? Say I have a GG SS and a pretty good backup SS. If I place the backup in the defensive sub, would the AI put him in over the GG SS in key defensive situations?

3. If I place my backup 1B, for example to start every 2nd game and he's also the starting DH, would he actually start 1B every other game or would I also need to place the backup DH to every 2nd game?

4. Same scenario as #3 but what happens when you play against a LHP vs RHP? Say the scenario is for a RHP and for LHP, the backup 1B is set at if starter is tired. I then play 4 games against a RHP, LHP, LHP, RHP. Will the backups play the second RHP game or does it reset? I hope that makes sense.

5. If I set the backup to start every 20th game, would he also start if the starter is tired? And again, do those 20 games count as only against RHP or all games?

6. If I have a player start at 1B and have him set to start at 3B when starter is tired, will he actually start at 3B or will the start at 1B have priority?
