You like the A's, you thought Fielder was too fat to wear jeans. BOOM. Roasted.

Fielder went 7th. We picked 16th.
Math FTW. Also: Mark Rogers 5th overall. That worked out well.

GUBA needs 1 more
Due to time constraints, we had one owner step down. Tomorrow is Opening Day, and we're looking to add 1 owner.
The London Spitfires 2015 Finish: 80-82, 4th place FIBB Euro (8.0 GB) London, along with having one of the best logos around, are led offensively by 2B Ben Hatch and LF Felipe Valencia. They have a solid rotation led by Alex Thompson and a dominant closer in 23 year old Wing Liu. The farm isn't much, but with nearly 30 million dollars in available budget, London is in a good position to add talent by absorbing bad contracts from other teams. If you're interested in London, register for the forums and fill out an application. We'd love to get somebody into the team by tomorrow, as we've never had a team go ownerless during the regular season. As always, keep in mind that the GUBA is a writing league and there are requirements that will need to be met. They're not very difficult to reach, but it does require some time to be spent on the team. Once you're in, it's relatively easy to keep up, but please consider this when filling out an application. Thanks, we hope to see you tomorrow!

Is London still available? I realise that I've missed the first Sim but if still available I'd apply.

London is filled, but in an attempt to constantly keep me on my toes we now have the Des Moines Kernels open. They have been stuck as a mid-70 wins team for the past three seasons and need an active hand to get them over the hump (or torn down). Register for the forums if interested and post an app. The regular season started last night and next sim is Thursday night.

The Pago Pago Coconuts are now available in the GUBA. Besides having "the most beloved toilet seat logo in the league", the Coconuts have a nice core of young talent and early returns of the 2017 season have them finally turning the corner after a few years of massive rebuilding. At this post they are 18-17, 3rd place in the FIBB Far East (FFE), where the Manila Volcanoes currently reign supreme. Your featured Coconuts are: SP Kevin Kern This 27 year old is in his third year in the bigs, and just hitting his prime. He could anchor many rotations in the GUBA. 3B Yin-xiang Zhang Zhang, 24 years old and in his 4th year, now seems primed to have the breakout year many have predicted for him since he made the show at age 21. Zhang has a nice mix of avg and power to go along with rapidly improved defense at the hot corner that could make him one of GUBA's top third basemen in quick order. If interested, PLEASE read our Constitution. If still interested, sign up for the Forums, and PM me here to let me know you've signed up and I'll approve your account (damned bots!). Hope to hear from some of you soon!

This is a very good league with a ton of active, 'entertaining' group of owners.

The GUBA needs help with Online Reports
Is there anybody out there who is willing to try and fix a problem we have had in the GUBA for quite some time now with our online reports?
Awhile ago, not exactly sure how or why, our HTML reports got broken. Retired players were somehow lost, at least partially, and/or show up as Joe Unknown in league history. Team pages are also half empty. For instance, here is the page for the 2007 California Crusaders, the inaugural season of the GUBA. Hardly anything is there. This is the same with every team. Is there any way to fix this and get the data back?

For a bit more info, this all started when one of the league simmers was generating HTML reports (in V9) and OOTP crashed while it was generating the files.

This has to do with your retired.dat file. If the league was simmed on two different computers without one computer getting the retired.dat file, the retired players show up as joe unknown. As for the other issues, I have no idea why half of your players are missing. May have something to do with the retired.dat file.
