Game Crashes On Startup(Steam Version) - Page 2

I am also having crashes at 33% on steam version. My laptop has a Radeon HD 6490M

Have you tried Sebastian's suggestion from earlier in the thread?

I tried that suggestion and it worked! I just miss my facegen. I am going to play from my desktop. Thanks for helping:-)

Steam version also crashes at 33% on startup on my laptop, the nofacegen option fixes this. Unlike the eseller version (which still works fine), the switching to dedicated graphics on the NVidia control panel doesn't change anything for the steam version.

It looks like we found a way to have it running with FaceGen on the effected graphic chips. We do more testing here and hopefully it will be in the first update.
