What's The Worst Team You Have Ever Been A Part Of?
This is by far the worst team i have ever been a part of. i am Gm & MGr but i knew i would be bad so i simmed teh entire season. I had Jose Valentin & Dan Brouthers, among others but i traded them Away. a few of the players i acquired were Dawson, Sain & Ralph Garr.

I've played some 1899 Spiders-level expansion tankjobs. Got another one starting soon, though I'm not sure whether I'll put it up on the forums.

As much as it pains both of us to say it, simulating the White Sox last year was excruciating. We got into a negative morale death spiral and I ended up firing Robin Ventura and hiring some fictional manager who wouldn't let me tinker with the lineups just so I didn't have to deal with the day-to-day aspects of the team. I couldn't even finish the season, I gave up and moved on.

Looking for a new challenge in my old, continued league, I expanded and took over the brand-spanking-new Hawaii Islanders. We won 54 games, iirc. I saved a bunch of screenshots and will probably make a Dynasty Report out of it, especially b/c that first year...hoo boy.

Many versions of OOTP ago I managed the Casper Ghosts for one season. That team won 9 games. 9-61 was the record. I was fired! I remember the e-mail said something to the effect of "You can be anything you want to be but you can't be the manager of the Casper Ghosts". You have been fired.

A few versions back I took over a team in a fictional league in 2013 with a budget of less than $40 million. 162 game schedule, won 39 games. Still the smallest market I've ever worked with relative to its time.

Years back(OOTP12?), I played a historical league(real transactions done by me) from 1960 thru 1962 as the Phillies, and in those 3 seasons I lost almost 300 games. It was easily the most miserable I've ever been playing this game lol.

I took an expansion team after the 2017 major league season in Indianapolis. The Racers were the teams nickname. We were a mess the first year, and I made some very bad decisions in the draft. Finished 58-104, the second season wasn't much better but we did improve. By the 5 year point I was a playoff contender. Year 7 - I made the playoffs, but I have not won the World Series yet. Key is low budget finds, waiver wire pick ups, key free agent signings, PITCHING, and draft well. The first few seasons were hard
