Anyone Else get 2018 Playoffs Crashing?

Mine keeps crashing if played or sim'd.
Only way to get past it is skipping with the specific date, week, month, or year.

Soon as I get into the preview screen of the game, and hit sim, or end game after it plays out it crashes... Anyone else?

yes I am having the same issue.

..Also my playoff stats arent't appearing, the only way i can see playoff stats is by going to team history, selecting the year and choose playoff stats that way.

Ya same thing, I am thinking that is why it keeps crashing, as it isn't calculating anything happening

Hmm, Tried another season in sandbox, with different team and same thing happened once I got to the playoffs

I can´t reproduce it here. It would be very important for us when you upload the save so we can take a look.

Anything special about this save? I guess you use Sandbox mode, right? Did you do any editing?

I am currently trying to get it into the uploaded files right now for you guys to take a look. In sandbox mode. Did some editing in it, but didn't seem to be a problem for the first year, once I got to second year of playoffs, thats where I get the crashing

The file is uploaded to ftp://ootpsupport.com/incoming/fhm/saved_games/

Windows PC Instructions:

Unless you have an ftp program, one way to get to the ftp site is as follows: Open up Windows Explorer by right-clicking the start menu and then choose "Open Windows Explorer". Now up at the top in the address bar (it probably will say "Libraries" in there), paste over top whatever is in there with "ftp://ootpsupport.com/incoming/fhm/saved_games/"

After you do this, hit the Enter key and wait a moment and it should load the ftp site in there. Now you can find your league files and copy and paste them into there. Your league files can be found here (in a default install): Documents\Out of the Park Developments\Franchise Hockey Manager 3\saved_games

In the saved_games folder you'll see folders that end in ".lg". Find the folder that corresponds to the league with this problem and zip up all of the files in there that end in ".dat". There should be 25 of them. Finally, copy this zip file to the other window with the ftp folder and it should start copying it there. It might take several minutes to copy.

Once you've uploaded your league, let us know what you called it.

Yeah thats what I am saying. Says it copied over, but doesn't seem to show, so donno how else to get it to you

Try a filesharing site and send us the link - filedropper.com works well, or something like dropbox (share it to my email, jeff@ootpdevelopments.com, if you use dropbox.)

Having the same issue.. After pressing End game or Sim game, the game always crashes. Playing Path to Glory, so I cant sim (or at least haven't found a way to)

We found the bug, it will be fixed in the first update.

Was it due to some kind of issue with the editing of stats? or just simply a bug in the 2018 playoffs?

Glad though you guys found the issue regardless
