•Import custom ballpark images through iTunes

How does one do this and what is the best source for photos to use as ballpark images on the ipad?

Thanks

For testing I used this user created ballpark pack from OOTP:

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...dium-pack.html

Then I changed the size to fit the needed size for the iPhone/iPad:

iPhone: 480 * 256

iPad: 1024 * 640

Then name it exactly like the ballpark, e.g.:

iPhone: Fenway Park.jpg

iPad: ipad_Fenway Park.jpg

Last step is adding them to the game via iTunes Share.

To test you can use my exampes:

iPhone/iPod

iPad

Of course you can use every pic you want so look around this side or search the internet. I'm sure in a few days a great pack will show up.

Have no experience with iTunes share. Guess it's time to learn!

1. Close iOOTP on your device (really close it, not just in the background!).

2. Connect your device with your computer and start iTunes.

3. Select your device and go to "Apps".

4. Look for the "File Sharing" part (lower part of the screen) and select iOOTP 2012.

5. Click "Add..." and select the ballpark pics you want to use.

6. Sync (maybe you don't need to).

7. Start iOOTP and enjoy.

After you share and sync on your phone. How do you add the fields into the game?

If you named them right they will be used automatically for the corresponding home team.

Let me know if you need help!

Awesome. That works perfectly. Thank you so much! I just have one more question and then I will leave you alone. How do you get daytime & nighttime parks to automatically come up?

Have you resized all of the photos of ballparks in that pack? If so, can you post them online for the rest of us to download iPhone/iPad compatible photos?

Thanks!

At the moment yes. Would this be interesting for iOOTP as well?

OK, I lied. I can't get PETCO Park to work. Do you maybe have a list of how to save the names so they'll work?

Sure, every device type (iPhone, iPad, iPod) works. Just make sure you use the right pic-size. To test you can always try my fenway park example.

Has anyone put together a zip file of all the parks in iPhone/iPad sizes yet? I've noted the directions on how to import them, but I'd love to use a file pack if someone has already put one together!

Thanks
