Thanks for doing all that research, but I’ll say it again.
‘Everyone chooses different guys’
Obviously there will be some more than others, but what you showed here are that there’s thousands of permutations for winning lineups. It’s impossible to predict and even more difficult for whales to corner the market.
And I’m just talking about the lower levels like bronze and silver. In the opens, whales obviously have the advantage. But in bronzes and silvers, that advantage is almost non existent. And that’s all my point was

Except for a few cards like Fox that are tied to missions, most of those cards are quite affordable. I bought a bronze Gwynn yesterday for 1250 and a bronze Carew for 400. I don't know if those are the cards that you list because you don't say which Gwynn and Carew, but if they are the same you are overstating the prices. It would be very easy to get a top bronze team for 5-10pp, probably closer to 5 than 10.

If your point is that everyone uses the best cards, then I don't how that is different from the regular game. However, you are always free to beat people with different cards.

I think it is folly to believe that metas won't develop for each type of tournament. These take time to fully become established.

My personal hope is that there are enough cards that are similar to each other to provide some small amount of variance within those metas.
