PadresFan's 2009 MLB Ballpark Mod for OOTP 10
Hey everyone -
The 2009 MLB Ballpark Mod is ready for download from the OOTP Mod Website. Here is the information from the ReadMe: This mod includes: - This ReadMe - 30 photos for every 2009 MLB Ballpark (the .jpg files) - 30 data files for each ballpark that provide correct ball animations, ballpark effects, ballpark dimensions & weather (the .prk files) This mod requires more work to install than the similar mod for OOTP 9, so please read the instructions below: INSTRUCTIONS: 1) Create your league in OOTP 10, then quit the program. 2) Place the photo files (.jpg) in your "\Documents\Out Of The Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 10\ballparks" folder. 3) Place the data files (.prk) in your "\Documents\Out Of The Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 10\saved_games\<league_name>\import_export" folder, where <league_name> is the name of your saved league. 4) Launch OOTP, making sure to be in Commissioner mode. (Accessed through the Manager Options screen) 5) Navigate to each teams "Edit Ballpark" screen, and select "Action -> Import data from file into this park" 6) Select the appropriate park and select "OK". If you do not see any files listed in this window, then go back to step 3, because you didn't put the .prk files in the right folder. 7) Repeat for each team NOTE: In May of 2009, the Marlins changed their ballpark name to "LandShark Stadium", so that is the name I used for this mod. Credit for preparing these photos goes to Gambo, PhillieFever and PadresFan, and PadresFan did all the custom work for the animation and the data entry for the ballpark effects, ballpark dimensions & weather. - PadresFan |

What resolution did you make this mod at? I'm using the widgets screen and the ballparks at 1024x768 and the fielders are off big time.

The game is running in 1024x768 - windowed mode - on my Mac. Using the widget screen, I can resize the field smaller or bigger and the fielders move appropriately.

Mizzou - I tried increasing the program resolution to 1400x900, so I could try the larger field size as you stated. Yep, I'm seeing the same issue. Wish I could offer a solution, but I guess folks are just going to have to manually move the players around if they play in different resolutions than what I used to create the mod.
Additionally, even with the increased resolution, the ballpark edit screen remains at a fixed size. So there is no other way I could have created the mod. The good news is that once you adjust the player locations to your liking for your resolution, the players will "stick" for future games. Last edited by PadresFan; 06-29-2009 at 01:30 AM. |

The U.S. Cellular Field in the set I think was when it opened as Comiskey Park. That is an old picture! I dug up 2 more recent ones, I'm not sure if either could help. The first is from the 2005 world series, the second is from 06-08, as you can see the banners have been added to the lights. Either one would show the pontiac fundamentals deck in left. Hope this helps.

There is a larger one as well if you need it.
Another one... And another And yet another - I can resize the larger ones to their correct size if you want |

Thanks! That nighttime one will work nicely after I straighten it out. Will post the updated mod later tonight.

Need help with this mod??? I followed the instructions and was able to import most of the parks into the league. But there are six teams who now have blank pictures for their ballparks (CLE,FLA,KC,NYY,OAK and STL).
Can anyone help me get these last six pics? Thanks for any help. |

Nevermind, guys. Looks like I poked enough buttons to get the right pictures in the right places. Now, back to the action...

If I have already started a "game" in OOTPX, will this still work?
Sorry, new user here, just not sure if it'll be picked up when I load my "game in progress"...or the next time I start a "new game"... Thanks in advance. |

You can import them at any time. As soon as you import them, they'll be ready to use.
