Vargas-Mayorga
I was just watching the early part of WNF where they cover the current boxing news and they showed the press conference between these two and not surprisingly a melee broke out. Mayorga said something to Vargas (or vice versa) and all hell broke loose and punches started flying.
My question is....where was the glass partition? |

I'm sure Mayorga was smoking a cigar and drinking a beer at the meeting. The last time I watch Vargas fight, he couldn't do much in the ring. I'm sure that Mayorga will have an easy night. Vargas will only be dangerous for the first two rounds.

From what i'm hearing the catchweight for this fight will be at 162. I think Mayorga will TKO Vargas in the middle rounds. The only was Vargas will have a chance is if he can catch Mayorga on the chin early.

Yeah, I saw that clip last night, I knew those 2 smack talkers would get into it - you saw this coming a mile away.

Me and you were talking about this a few months ago right before the Floyd/DLH fight and we agreed something needed to be done to keep Mayorga and Vargas apart. LOL.

Yep, does anyone really care about this? Is it PPV and if so, how many buys can they hope for? A few thousand? I'm a PPV sucker and I'm not a buyer at $20.

I'm a PPV sucker too but I'd buy the Duddy or the Jones fight tonight before I bought this garbage.

I'll be on a cruise but plan to DVR it. Yeah, both guys are past their primes but that could make for a good fight between 2 guys on or close to the same level. Actually the card had some other fights I wanted to see too.

I was planning on getting the Marquez - Barrios fight just for the Mora-Ouma undercard fight.
What is the undercard like on Mayorga? |

It seems like a card worth purchasing if it's not too expensive. If I recall right SHO PPV are pretty reasonable in price.

Every now and then you say something that makes me laugh hysterically . . . . then I think you're ok again.

I'd buy the Duddy or Jones fight tonight if the HBO card wasn't on. I hate to go a weekend without boxing. |

You know, it's really not that bad. I'm not buying, but it's not bad (subject to change due to my similar at-least-once-a-weekend feeling).
