Historical game-players on wrong teams

I just loaded a historical the game 2016 and found players on teams they never played that year. Examples: Vicente Campos on NYY, played on AZ. These players on Cleveland but actually played on the teams shown:
Ben Heller-NYY, Anthony Recker-ATL, Robbie Grossman-MIN & Zach Walters-LAD

Not sure how this happens but is there a way to fix this without searching each teams to see who does not belong and where they should be?

Campos began the season in the NYY organization. The others began the season in the CLE organization. If you're using historical transactions, those players should move to the proper teams at the proper times.
