Salary Cap HELP

Hi guys. We are trying to implement a hard cap of 105 million in our online league. So far it just doesnt seem to work no matter how we tweak the settings. Any ideas?

Hard Caps do not work perfectly in the game.
How much are teams going over and, more importantly, how are they going over?
Arbitration would probably have to be removed for a hard cap to function.
I commished an online fictional league with an out of engine cap of $80 million for a number of years. It does not take too much work. If you have a GM or two who are willing to do some administrative tasks the effort is minor.
Post here if you have questions or PM me.

Good luck,
Tom (LP)

This is a really interesting topic to me. I will be following this thread because I have never been able to get them to work either. I never thought of the arbitration angle. Whenever I have tested using a hard cap the ai teams just blow right by it as if it didn't exist.

I have very little solo play experience with the hard cap. Because of how baseball salaries work I think it will take a lot of AI coding to get a cap to work. I think the better way to create parity or a levelish playing field is by managing revenue or team income.
