In all honestly I have played OOTP for a while in the first place so I have an idea what I want them to look like, then I test simmed quite a few replay seasons until I got the stats the way I wanted them. Adjusted prospect ratings to match the top 10 / top 100 for the team / league... scouting reports, stats, my personal judgement, etc. |

Is the all-in-one installer ready with the 2005 schedule yet?
Thanks in advance.

I just downloaded Cubby's roster and the 2005 mlb set. then i took the photos, logos and schedule files freom the 2005 mlb set and put them into cubby's roster and it worked just fine. I got tired of waiting for halo's roster. It was to be released "tonight" for the last 4 days, it seems.
Cubby's roster, thus far. works fine. |

Great set! Thanks so much. I hate to be greedy, but is there a similar set for any year in the 50s, or around 1975?

Cool, the newest roster set would make this complete.

The installer has been updated, and I've also created an updater, which will just copy the necessary files into an existing install.
Rather than wait for them to become available on the OOTP Download Center (although they will still be available there), I have put them up using my wife's host: http://www.violetjaffe.com/eriq/index.html I'd highly recommend that you download (and try out) the updater, especially since it's 1/20 the size of the full install (although that's updated, as well). I would've done this sooner, but I don't have broadband access on the weekends... |

I've not tried it a second time yet (delete-reinstall), but I've had some pretty bad stability problems with the league. All other leages work, but I am getting runtime errors with this 2005 league. It seems to happen when html is being generated for reports and, after many crash and restarts which allowed me to finish a season, the league crashed after the world series (the last month + playoffs were simmed straight through). The last crash (after the WS) happned while trying to access the Yankees team screen from the playoff screen.
I'm not sure what the prob is. I have a very high powered cpu, tons of HD room, completely updated and a completely clean install of OOTP. This was my first time playing OOTP on this computer, but after having the first of the crash troubles, I loaded up the default league and simmed a season, accessed the screens that crashed in the 2005 league, simmed more, etc... and everything worked fine. But the 2005 league still crashed. I did have one human team (Pirates) - but I did not do anything but typical 'in-season' type things. Anyone else, or did I just get a bum install? |
