Expansion Minor League Schedules

When expanding the league, if you change the minor league for any of your teams, it does not create a schedule for your team. For example, the default league for the AA teams was the Texas League. I changed it to the Southern League, The expansion minor league teams did not have a schedule for the year. If I had caught it, I could have manually created one, but shouldn't the new Expansion process take care of this?

Did you change the league in the wizard or after?

Whenever the structure of a league is changed you have to generate a new schedule. If teams don't have games scheduled check the schedule options for that league. I had this problem once and whether the schedule was balanced or not was the issue. Making the schedule balanced or unbalanced, I forgot which one, solved the problem.

I figured the wizard would create a new schedule for the leagues I added to. The divisions were balanced and the expansion was created during the pre-season. If they aren't going to create the schedules, maybe they can add a reminder to update the schedule so a season doesn't go by without any games added.

I noticed the same thing today. I started a new MLB league (standard league), added two teams via expansion, and made no changes to the destinations of the minor league teams. I added the teams before starting, but in the new league this was post-spring training (3/26/2020).

With creation of minor league teams part of the wizard (great addition!), I just assumed schedules would be updated to reflect the new teams. I edited the MLB league structure, so I manually updated the MLB schedule. I just never gave the minor league schedules a thought. I was in mid-April before I realized my higher-level teams were not playing, and by then it was too late to do something about it.

This may be due to the timing of adding the teams. I have seen no issue in 20 plus tests when adding teams at the start of the offseason.
