Roster Size

I am doing a short season game (70 games per team) and I had been using the 25/40 player start of season/expansion number. But this means that my teams play almost half the season with 40 players. I am thinking of switching to a set roster size for the whole season. Any ideas what would be a good number? 25, 30, 35? Thanks for your input.

Why not kill expanded rosters for the last month.

That's an alternative, but keep the 25 player limit for the whole season? Is there a better number?
