Looks like the market only needed about six hours to get back to the late beta state.

Everyone is trying to sell cards at ridiculous prices right now, and there are only so many buyers that have the cash.

Well I snatched a Cespedes for 800, when a few hours ago comparable cards went for 2-4k.

And while the prices for gold+ are still lofty (there is a Canseco (89) for 30k f.e.), bronze prices have crashed already and I think silvers and low-end golds are going down too. I might have overpaid when I shelled out 2,500 for Carlos Martinez and 2,600 for Bogaerts

I would wish for some functionality that allows you to see how many cards you are missing to complete a team (including historical and future cards), because that would create actual interest in f.e. historical bronzes. I saw a stash of Mitch Williamses move through earlier, and couldn't get rid of mine either.

Ichiro cards should go for way more PP. Mine is on pace for a 9.6 WAR season and is hitting .436. Also on pace for 328 hits. haha

I'm having a hard time moving any bronze cards. I have a Holt up for a 100 buy now and no takers. I have three 69 OVR Ichiro cards up for 400 min bid and 1,000 buy now. They would've gone for that easily in the beta. Now I can't even get a bid. I think all but a small handful of bronzes are just quick sell fodder. Does anyone even bother listing any common cards? I just sell them for 5 PP.

I still list the bronze at a 30 min/35 buy now in case anyone wants them. I don't even bother with the commons, but I guess set collectors might want them for 6 PP.

I put all of mine up because I imagine there are other people like me that like buying those cards on a whim sometimes and ... can't buy them if they're not for sale.

Eventually there will need to be some kind of way to list cards in bulk. I'd list all my bronze cards if I could do a bulk "30 min bid/35 buy now/24 hours/sell if not bid on" thing. Same for commons but with 6 min/10 buy now.

The bronze market has officially tanked. What comes next? The 2018 Live cards are glutting the AH right now because people have yet to grasp the concept of supply and demand. Soon, someone will realize that they will need to price their card lower than the next guy to sell it, and then the 2018 market for all levels except perfect will fall. What will remain strong is the market for perfects and historical cards (because of limited supply and high demand).

Yup, regular 40's you can trash right away for 5 PP, saves you hassle. But I sold a Boots Poffenberger (41?) for 60 PP last night.

I think these have value to collectors. The 2018 Live commons are vendor trash.

Indeed... I even have a 15PP bid on Marv right now... I have no interest in collecting him obviously

He can be yours with a buy now of 150

I'm collecting lower numbered cards

I was bored in-between games yesterday and had no $$$ to improve my lineup or pitching staff, so I started collecting the best sub-gold cards and specialty players-- all run no hit, all field no hit, etc. We all have discovered Ichiro playing like a gold card-- did you know Jeff Samardjia makes a great middle inning reliever? I have Aaron Judge on my team (got him in a $1 pack) but the team leader in homers is Joc Pederson, a silver card. Steve Pearce is a bronze player who has 15 homers for me in 350 ABs. I had Dom DiMaggio, who is an excellent fielder and mediocre hitter, but he got edged out as a backup when I acquired Andrew McCutchen. I'm dying to have a second team so I can try out players like Roy A. Thomas, a SEVERE all-singles hitter with an 87 eye from 1901, or Willie Wilson, a gold glove left fielder from the early 80s with lightning speed, 74 contact and 55 gap power. These guys don't fit on my team but I'd love to play them. Also, I'd like to play catcher Darrell Porter, but that's just because when I was a kid, he gave me a baseball at a Yankees/Brewers game! I would join a Bronze and Below or Silver and Below league IN A SECOND. I would join a tournament too but I'd like a league more.

I would love to play in a Silver or Bronze and under league with rules like must have at least one or two cards rated in the 40's, must have 3 or 4 rated in the 50's-- that sort of thing. It would be much more like 20th century baseball. Also an all oldies card league would be fun.

sold a lower 80s SP w/ high era and with the points pulled a 97 Rickey Henderson. .297 .390 38/107 53 sbs in 165 games against these monster teams in entry pool

69 Suzuki is batting .306 with 42 sbs in 170 games. Putting time in moving him around could make him a great backup until the right guy comes along. He's worth way more than the few hundred pp selling his bronze card.

66 Luiz Gohera has 2.38 era in 66 appearances. second lowest era on the team. There are bronze diamonds in the rough!

I rarely spent more than 200PPs for most players on my team. just gotta be patient, and realize that there are plenty of copies of the bronzes and silvers out there, the market will cycle around and you can pick em up for just above book value
