Don't be sorry, appreciate all this. There was some screwy stuff with the ZIPS import unfortunately, and you're helping us see who need to be sorted. It's appreciated.

As mentioned in the first post. you don't have to post stuff like this... We're constantly updating the rosters daily, so we'll catch these kind of transactions. BTW, I did update this already, but again thanks for the info

What about this? Matt Holliday is playing 1B now for the Cardinals (probably won't start), but may be starting vs LHP. Should give him a small amount of defense at 1B to allow the computer manager to move things around.

Thanks Lukas. The game truly does look great. Given how much work you guys put in, I am assuming I won't find too many errors

I read about that today.. Sucks for Matt Adams... I was wondering how to handle this, from a ratings stand point. I figure a guy with Holliday's athleticism and talent level, he'd be a more than adequate 1B,

And also as a Dodgers fan, I get that Zach Lee is highly rated BC ZIPS loves him, but his control still seems a little too high

I've already fixed this, he should be a bit more normal looking next patch

Daniel Nava is back to switch hitting

Domingo Santana's current ratings seem high (projected 372 obp)

Nathan Eovaldi projected for almost 3/4th of a run lower than ZIPS

Adam Lind has I believe the biggest platoon split in the majors. Should probably be bigger in the game

Brad Boxberger is out for 2 months

The rangers have Josh Hamilton on their cap for 30 million when in reality the angels are paying for most of his deal

Will Myers is pretty highly rated, ZIPS has him at 15 HRs 330 Obp, game has him at 23 and 374

ZIPS has Chris Carter at 330ish Obp and 31 Hrs, game has him at 363 and 42

Eric Hosmer is about 30 Obp higher than his ZIPS projection

Jon Singleton is about 30 Obp higher than his ZIPS projection with like 7 more home runs

Ausin Barnes catching rating seems a little low (maybe this is Dodgers bias but I think most people would at least give him a 60 grade behind the plate

Not sure if this matters but Brett Anderson had a back injury not TJ

Frankie Montas has already begun throwing and I believe his timeline has changed to where he will be back about a month into the year

Any chance the potential ratings for the top 2016 draft prospects gets updated? OOTP's potential ratings don't seem to be congruent with many mock draft and prospect ranking sites

They're always being worked on. That being said, can you clarify a bit and maybe give some specifics as to how so?

Next question is, have you made sure to turn scouting off?

I wouldn't sweat this sort of stuff regarding established hitters too much right now Most hitters have been lowered a bit since they imported too highly rated and even after the fix, they may not perfectly match their exact zips projection in game as there are other variable to take into account.

Totally understand how the ratings won't exactly match ZIPS but some of those are pretty significant.

Yeah, Carter is way too high for sure. What I was trying to say is that all these ratings have changed today, in fact all batter's ratings have changed (been lowered a touch) so you're working with old data at this point. You'll want to check out tomorrow's beta build and see what's there.

I believe Christian Walker (BAL) is moving to left field this season, but he has no ratings at the position. He's played left in Spring Training and Dan Duquette has made comments about him in left field for AAA to start the season.

Not fixed last year, but Rule 5 Draft picks are not functioned correctly.
For Example, Daniel Stumpf and Tyler Goeddel are Rule 5 Draft Picks and should have been forced to stay on major League Roster.
I checked here are some guys who are not right at the moment:
Tyler Goeddel(Phillies)
Jake Cave(Reds)
Evan Rutckyj(Braves)
Colin Walsh(Brewers)
And pretty much all of them.
Also, Luis Perdomo is gone.

We have no way to set Rule 5 picks so the AI knows they are Rule 5 picks, that's how it's always been. Something for OOTP18, I guess

What do you mean on Luis Perdomo, how is he 'gone'?
