shield on my icon
in windows7 i see a small blue and yellow shield on my ootp10 icon. what does that mean and how should i proceed?

It just means you have to right click and run as administrator. Same thing with almost every program you download on Windows 7.

but that is the only icon with a shelid on it and i have about 10 game icons

It means that you OS is telling you to run the program "as administrator".

Dwight, whether the shield appears or not has to do, to a certain extent, with the installer program that was used and how it handles Windows' "UAC" (User Access Control).
In our case, OOTP 10's installer lets the OS know that our program needs administrator permissions to run, and as a result, the program icon has the shield. Not all programs behave the same, and different PCs may behave differently based on how they have UAC configured on their machine. This is a Windows Vista / Windows 7 function that should have no impact on your ability to enjoy OOTP! I hope this helps! Does this take care of your issue? Steve
