See post 12.
This was mentioned in post 10. I use these schedules and rotate them annually to the next schedule in my MLB-style fictional league. I keep the schedules in their own file so I have to manually import the next schedule in preseason.

Oops I didn't see that.

No problem. I just wanted to reiterate that you need to manually load them each year. For some odd reason when I kept the files in the schedules folder they would not load properly and other schedules would load. I keep them in a folder in the schedules folder and simply import the next version of the file during the preseason.

This change (Houston AL/Miami Location) is officially happening in 2013, right?

I hope Markus includes it in OOTP13 along with a proper schedule.

Thanks, that's exactly what I'm doing too.

It's easy to do right now, but I'm sure Markus will fix it for the MLB quickstart.

I just finished my season (won the WS!) and have not progressed to the offseason yet. I would like to move Houston to the AL West and Florida Marlins to Miami. Should I do this before I start the offseason, right after I start the offseason, or at the start of the preseason?

Also, when is the correct time to load my new schedules (thanks GMO!)?

As soon as possible because you want Houston's AI to strategically embrace the DH.

Although I agree with Rchw's assessment, ultimately it doesn't matter, I hold my draft in December and always make league changes (expansion, contraction, moves) right before the draft. Your league schedule you can either hit generate new schedule when you move them, or load a new one come preseason. (both might be preseason)

Why would the 2012 quickstart contain changes set to take effect in 2013?

I have a scheduling question. I got to preseason, when it would let me import a schedule. I imported gmo's schedule, which appeared to work just fine for the season. However, it looks like it eliminated the preseason schedule altogether. Did I do something wrong, or is there another way of getting/generating the preseason schedule?

Also, I don't see any schedules for the minor leagues. I realize that may be that the minor league schedules get generated later in preseason or when their seasons start, but I want to correct this if necessary before it is too late.

Thanks

This was my first year importing a schedule.. the preseason games still showed up (they are separate and generated by the game) and I would assume the others will too once I get to the part of the season where the minor league schedules are generated since they are also separate from the MLB schedules.

Right on Mizzou. I guess I jumped the gun. When I passed further through the pre-season and eventually got to Spring Training, it populated the schedules as you indicated it would.

I can't confirm the minor league schedules yet, but I am now confident they will be there when the time is appropriate.

Thanks for the response.

I can confirm my minor league scheduled are good to go.

Cool MLB schedules by the way GMO! Colorado opened against Texas.. thought that was kind of neat.

We opened against the Cubbies, just like it should be!

I'm going to see the Marlins vs Yankees exhibition game on April 1 in the new stadium. I will try my hardest to get some good shots if they let me in the upper decks.

PadresFan has updated his MLB2K12 The Show pack to include the new Marlins ballpark and I believe his mod has ballpark factors included in the PRK files. Worth a look. it a great set.
