I realised a few weeks ago that it was a year since Danny had passed but didn't want to mention it in case people thought I was being too morbid. Yeah he is missed, I miss him a lot, he was a great character.

I probably think about him once every couple of weeks or so ... amazing what an influence a man I never met had on my life ... I deleted all my PM's except that one

Danny was as terrific guy who made an impression on everyone, and we are all better for having known him.

Everytime I come on I see his post at the top of the board on the new patch and am always saddened for a moment. Then I think about what an asset he was to this board and it turns into a smile. We will always miss Danny.

I've never seen someone on-line that had the sort of connection with and personal impact on so many people that Danny had.
We'll all likely say this over and over for years to come... Thanks again Danny, you are and will be missed. Thanks for the bump Mike!

Not wishing to be all maudlin and depressing, and I know this probably won't mean anything to new members of the board, but it is almost two years since Danny passed (7th May 2010), I still miss him, I know others here do and its nice to think that there are other boards that miss him too.

Rob,
Thank you for reminding us that it has been two years since Danny left us. He was truly one of the good guys, and I too miss what he meant to all of us.

Always a gentleman and one of the pioneers of this forum...hard to believe that he's been gone for two years.

I was just thinking about Danny the other day too. If it's possible for anyone, Danny's probably paling around with Sugar Ray Robinson and Jack Dempsey, sharing stories and watching all the old time fights as they happened.

I was thinking today that there are a couple of guys who have done a lot to contribute to Title Bout's community over the years and deserved to be entered into our Hall of Fame while they're still alive to enjoy it, or posthumously for those who have gone ahead. Then I realized I couldn't find the Hall of Fame sticky with Danny Wildhawke. Where did it go?

The page defining each conditioning rating is also gone. I assume that once the game was sold that some of that information was deleted. The new owners are going to have to build those pages devoted to the game.

Was just going to add this, once OOTP sold the game to PISD all related Title Bout information has been removed. I can try an archive search to try and recover. A shame if it was just taken down and not saved. |

I copied off the conditioning ratings at least once, but can't find the paper.

Well, at least he's still mentioned in the list of credits in the game. Can't expect things in the ethernet to last forever....

Thank you! I'll ask Paul if he could add the HoF to the new site again.
