Do teams, points carry over?

First time playing OOTP and I am wondering if my team and points carry over to OOTP 22. I have unspent points that I was hoping to save for the next game if that is possible.

I suppose this is as good a place as any to ask... do we know a potential release date for OOTP22? I've been looking and can't find anything.

Like mid-late March. My guess is March 19th, might be the 26th. It's always at that time of year.

PT21 will not "conclude" until after PT23 comes out

The games run on a two-year cycle. It's just that most people don't pay attention to the the previous one, they focus on the new one. But there is still a year and change left in PT21's life
