What did I forget to do ???

I started a new historical single season last night in 2010, swapped out all 30 teams for other years for each franchise as I normally do, I checked the box for 5 weeks of spring training......but the new game takes me straight to the day before the regular season opener...no spring training.

Does anyone know what setting I need to adjust to start the game prior to spring training ??

the game will start opening day with 5 weeks of spring training. You need to reduce Spring Training to 4 or less to get the game to start before opening day. (At least that's what i read a while back. i never use spring training longer than 4 weeks in my historical -early years) anyway.) Hope it works.

How do you swap out teams from other eras? I went into settings as I wanted to either add or replace current teams(2017), and there is a "add historical team" option, but when I click on it, I get a bunch of folders, but didn't see where I could "import" a team?

Before I advance even one day I go to"edit league structure" delete teams I don't want to keep and import other historical teams to replace them.
