A futures game as well as the all star game would be very cool.
And I've mentioned this a few times, but I would like to be able to name 1 All Star roster in a league where there isn't an All Star Game (eg one where there are an odd number of divisions), so that you can still have players be "All Stars". |

I'm always pleasantly surprised by the little changes that OOTP makes every year. One of those little changes I'd like to see next year is to be able to use the 2-8, 1-5 (etc...) scales for Overall Rating and Potential Rating.

So i was never a soccer fan until the year or so OOTP became a part of SI (best thing for the franchise ever IMHO) and when that happened I reluctantly tried to play FM just to see what all the fuss was about and now...
I play FM almost as much as I play OOTP. The game is so well done and so immersive and it helps i know nothing about soccer that I don't notice the warts that i do on football/basketball/baseball games. So nice story what is the point? The point is I have come to find the international soccer world setup fascinating especially in terms of competitions, player acquisition and compensation. I will always play 80% of my OOTP on "real" settings. But a quickstart or template of some sort where baseball emulated soccer would be fascinating. Transfer lists, promotion/relegation, no drafts to acquire players, multiple cometitons including cups(imagine the fun decisions needed to be made for pitching when you have an important league game with a cup game or series in the middle) Also in the league evolution have an option for CBA. Some/most of the rules in there are covered by the CBA and it could be fun to have to negotiate/vote for the changes (with the option in historical for it to follow the real world or be open) Of course with the extensive settings in OOTP you can manaually manage just about everything in a CBA, but adding it as a game element allows you to (optional, always optional) negotiate these settings with a character in the game represetnting the players union and these characters could have a variety of skills, personalities.

I prefer to play stats only so one thing I'd love to see is more information in the written scouting reports including the scouts opinion on a pitchers individual pitches since we can't see the ratings. Any enhancements to the scouting report verbiage is welcome.
I'd also love to see a fully fleshed out Spring Training with minor league camps, Spring Training invites. split squad games and even inter-organization scrimmages as part of the schedule. Last, and least because I know this is a big deal that really only benefits Stats Only players but I'd love to see an alternate player interface where the rating bars are removed. Or at least the ability to customize the display. |

It would be nice to be able to set up your spring training into leagues that way you can kind of makes the team snap as you want

Progressive story lines that can carry over throughout the season:
-recurring injuries -recurring contract disputes -acknowledgement of slumps (and streaks - not just hitting streaks) -mentions of changes in rankings (power, top prospect, etc) -MVP/Cy Young Race news -Improved trade talks -Player featurettes and/or improved human interest pieces. I'm looking for more humanization. |

I'd like to see more stuff like this, with branching possibilities over a long period. I also really, really, reallyreallyreally want a better system for handling morale. If a player emails me about how I need to ditch the bad apples, I'd like some idea of who those might be. I'm also frustrated when my bench coach writes me about how the team's doing okay with morale, but then I get 8 separate personal messages from players moaning about their teammates. Right now it feels like the only way to keep a team happy is by winning. |

Support for real 19th century teams in historical replays.

Yes, all the pieces now exist as the missing were added for the historical minor leagues. Just missing the want to?

When load a Historical Team get Farm Teams to.
Wavier Draft after Spring Training is over. Owning the rights to a person and if not signed by a certain date either becomes a Free-Agent or has to reenter Draft. People been sent back if still have Junior Rights. On Loan. RFA.

Improved 3d.. would be neat to see my players with actual jerseys. More animation.. after playing so many games, I know just about every animation in the game.
Better stadiums.. team specific, make it feel like a home game. More newspaper stuff.. maybe even a hometown paper that generates for whatever team you control. Dynamic AI evaluation settings that change each month automatically and auto evaluate at the start of the month as GM's focus on their team as the season goes on. In depth winter meetings with movement talk.. Preseason team recaps going over additions/subtractions and brief overview of the team for the coming season/last season. Better-written game recaps... they are very poorly done now.
You also need more variety in the recaps... there must be fewer than 15 variations... it really must get monotonous for gamers who don't write their own recaps. There are roughly 2430 games a year in MLB. You need about 3000 recap variations. I know it's a lot of work... 10 years ago there were 5 shutout variations... I wrote about 150 for the Beta Team so they would not be repeated so much... did the same thing for current stats descriptions and career stats descriptions in news stories.
