Trifling little issue, but in the latest build, Derek Stepan of the New York Rangers is listed as "Derek Unknown" and any attempt to change his last name ends up as "Derek Average"

A user on my forums (M Ace) mentioned that John Moore should be a left-handed shot (apparently in the DB he's a right-hand at the moment).

Pittsburgh Penguins/Wilkes Barrie Scranton Penguins

Muntasir Abdul-Bari is not anyone, nor is it even close as a generated hockey name, associated with the organization. (Listed as Asst. Coach for Pittsburgh).

Gillies Meloche is no longer an assistant Coach for Pittsburgh (believe he is a scout again).

Mike Bales is not an assistant Coach for Pittsburgh.

Abdul - Matin bin Naim is not part of the organization (again may want to look at the name generator.. sounds more like a "soccer/football" player).

Mahdi Tawfiq (same as above).. not in the organization or sport.

Tom Fitzgerald is director of player development.

Roster Moves:
James Neal - To Pitt from WBS
Tyler Kennedy - To Pitt from WBS
Douglas Murray - To Pitt from WBS
Brooks Orpik - To Pitt from WBS
Kris Letang - To Pitt from WBS
Pascal Dupuis - To Pitt from WBS
Brandon Sutter - To Pitt from WBS
Brendan Morrow - To Pitt from WBS
Tanner Glass - To Pitt from WBS
Matt Niskanen - To Pitt from WBS

Reid McNeill - To WBS from Pitt
Riley Holzapfel - To WBS from Pitt
Keven Veilleux - To WBS from Pitt
Zach Sill - To WBS from Pitt

Alex Grant to Anaheim Ducks
Harry Zolnierczyk to Pittsburgh Penguins

Chad Kolarik to Sweden Elite League (Linkoping)
Philippe Dupuis to Hamburg Freezers Germany DEL

Just the obvious ones so far... I'll update this.

I noticed that, too. I think there's indeed an issue with the name generator for fake staff. When teams have missing personnel, the game appears to create some to fill the voids. For some reason, instead of drawing names from the correct nation, it very heavily draws from the Arabic set... It really shouldn't. It does that for every team in the NHL and in Europe, actually. I don't know whether this issue has already been reported or not already, but I agree it must be fixed.

The Toronto Marlies should have the abbreviation "TOM", not "TOR". Currently it's impossible to know what kind of contract Marlies players have on the roster screen, because both NHL and AHL contracted players have the same acronym.

Go into Commish Mode and put like Mac Domi on the Coyotes but beware all Draft Picks aren't in Roster yet and then Disable to 2013 Draft and undisable it for 2014 one.

Just a few thing I noticed.

Jordan Eberle is 20/20 proficiency as Center and has a 13 FO rating - all I can say about that is the Oilers wish that was the case.

Danny Heatleys contract is wrong.

Players on ELCs are only listing their base sallary and not their bonuses.

All add more as I notice wrong info.

Hello

would it be good to have a sub thread for each team to keep people's input for specific teams in one place?

Who the hell has made these NHL rosters? They are not good at all. Lots of players in Waivers and wierd guys in NHL roster and guys that are playing in NhL real life are in AHL. Please correct these things.

And Pittsburgh Penguins d-man Harrison Ruopp contract is over 5 milj per year. What the hell :-)

Minor thing. Oilers Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is missing his rookie season (2011-2012) in his career stats.

Cap hit for Marco Scandella of Minnesota Wild is listed at over 9 million. This is causing the Wild to be over the cap at the beginning of the game.

NYR Salary Cap

Why do the rangers have 7,266,667 in "compensations" (dead money) according to capgeek.com the rangers have 0 dead money this year.

Will this be editable in the first real release?

Yeah, I'm not 100% sure about what 'compensations' mean. Could it be for performance bonuses? I figured that might be what it was as they don't seem to be included in individual players' cap hits (though they should be)

I just noticed this to when trying to advance to the regular season.

It showed up for me as $7million for cap peanlties which the rangers do not have according to cap geek. Game is unplayable for me as of right now because of this.
