A gift for those who are waiting (MLB Preseason Summary)
I just ran this using the current beta rosters and I have to say, it looks fricking realistic. The only questionable division is the National League eastern as far as I can see but remember that Howard and Utley's injuries are factored into the sim already. Preseason summary does not account for trades or injuries so it is a perfect view to show how the rosters are looking at this moment.
I hope that gets you MLB guys excited

I'll take any prediction of the Giants winning the west and the Freak winning 19 games. Now if there was only some way to make this really happen. Muah Muah Muah.

If the Astros lose less than 100 games I'll eat someone's hat, or something...............and I'm an Astros fan.
Seriously, that all looks pretty good to me. |

The preseason report simulates the season three times and displays the averages. Looks pretty good to me so far, although we're still in the process of fine-tuning the rosters.

The one thing that worries me is that the pitcher innings seems a touch high... I really doubt Halladay gets anywhere near 280 innings. I'll set my starting pitcher stamina down a little for my league.

I hope it is right about the Phillies =P
If the Nats only take 66 games though I'll swallow a baseball whole. |

This is because the sim module used for the prediction does not have effects like stamina / fatigue piling up over the season etc. Hence GS & IP are a tad high usually.

As a Reds fan, I hope they win 96 games! Although I don't see Mike Leake being a 17 game winner, but ya never know. A Votto 1.038 OPS with 41 HR would be damn nice, though.

If I can manage the OOTP Mets to 83 wins I'd consider it a monumental achievement.

Seeing my Royals lose 94 games does not excite me.
I'll just have to help them do better. |

I'm really excited for OOTP13 to release so you guys can dig into this roster set. There's been an incredible amount of work and detail done by all of us on the beta team (details coming soon... ) and I think you're really going to enjoy it.

Under 500 for the Sox? Ouch c'mon man where's the love?
What a WC between the Angels and Rays though. Both 93 game winners?

How do I cancel my pre-order?
My Blue Jays with a 77-85 record.... Ya right. They are favorites for at least a wild card this year. Please get the rosters with the proper ratings in there. |

You are in a mighty tough division. I think your starting pitching will be the biggest question mark.
