Any free agency changes?
My two biggest gripes with OOTP have always been the trading AI and the free agency system. I was excited to see in the 4th road to release, that trading AI has been amped up.
Any news on a slight or major change to free agency? My problem with the old system was that you always seem able to sign the player you really want. If you put all your eggs in one basket you can pretty much nail a superstar. I never felt like I got screwed over by a player like a Pujols or Fielder type screw over IRL. Maybe I've just been lucky, but I have a sadistic side that wants a player to lead me on then sign some place else in December leaving me out in the cold. |

You mean using us as leverage for the team he really wants. That would be cool lol.

Yeah, any kind of wrinkle they can add in would be nice. I always see a pattern when I bid on FAs in each version. There's always the few who sign right away, then there's one or two who make you wait until December or January, then sign with you. It kind of kills the suspense when I know I'll get the guy even though he's stalling. As weird as it sounds, I'd like to get "played" by a guy once in awhile.

This part of the AI is tweaked as well, AI teams are now more competitive when bidding on a FA.

Did you really mean to post beta info in the main forum? It may be too late but you might want to edit that and put it in beta where it belongs

It would be cool to have the Pujols, Fielder types want 10 year contracts, it seems like they always demand 3-5 year deals
