Game crashes after team contraction.

After I edit the league structure to contract 4 teams in the NL leaving it with 12 (4 in each div) and 14 in the AL (untouched) I try to advance a day and the game crashes and changes are lost.

latest version of OOTP2009, windowsXP

yes I click on the generate schedule button. It still does it.

Yep I am doing it right after winter meetings end.

Seems to crash soon as I get to preseason.

update for anyone having the same problem. I just redownloaded the full version of the game and overwrote the game installed and it fixed the problem.
