Display Setting

I have a question about the display setting that I can't quite figure out. I recently moved from the Mac version to the PC version and have been a little confused with the display. My default display is 2256x1504 and my zoom set to 150%. If I try an play with these settings the game will not work. If I lower my zoom level the game works but the font is really small. I messed around with different resolutions but everything is either really small or I have to have a resolution that is zoomed right in. I have no issue changing back and fourth resolutions in order to play the game but I was wondering if there was a setting where I can have the best of both worlds and not have to continually switch back and fourth between a higher resolution for everyday use and a lower one in order to play this game. I hope I am somewhat clear in my question!
