Question

I am the kind of person who likes to rebuild teams and such, how long does the demo last season wise because i have never played OOTP but ive played baseball manager for ps3 and such and i thought i would give the demo a try before i buy 2014 or 2015

also my other question is once i do get 14 i knwo they are 2013 rosters if i take over GM mode aka commish mode and make the roster changes in my game can i unclick commish mode so im just playing as the manager...

IIRC, it's 7 real-world days, historical seasons are capped at 1/2 a season and fictional play is capped at 1 1/2 seasons. It's enough to give you an idea of what the game does, but not enough for a rebuilding project.

If you want a longer taste, OOTP 8 is available free.

And, yes, you can go into and out of commissioner mode. Personally, I prefer to create two managers - one to play the game with, and one as an "unemployed" manager with Commissioner powers. I just switch managers when I need to do something. Keeps me from forgetting to leave commissioner mode.

I so agree with Pawn .... it is an investment well worth your time .... once you begin playing you be wondering why it took you so long.

can i replace a team and say send all of there players to free agent and start my own team aka replace one of the teams with a former team... what i wanna do is bring back the Montreal Expos and do a expansion draft but want wont to create two teams... not sure of how to do the jerseys and such was wondering if someone knew where i could go to get this stuff... or if u can even release players to ufa and replace teams in general...

In commish mode you can delete a team sending everyone into free agency. You can add another team but as far as I know expansion drafts can only be done when expanding by a multiple of two teams. Jerseys for any former MLB team can surely be found in OOTP Mods section of the forum.

question... im starting my new expansion team and the expansion draft is on the same day as the opening day of the season so i go to continue to the expansion draft and appearently its showing me playing atlanta so it wont let me continue without playing the game but i have no one on my roster... anyway to fix this?

wow nm just had to go to expansion draft and click continue draft wow lol
