HOW TO - Add pictures into the game ?

Heya folks,

I'm wondering what the best way is to download and add the pictures into the game to update various NHL players who have changed teams over the course of the season so far.

I've downloaded a few pictures from various sites but they don't seem to be recognized by the game itself.. Is there a specific program i can use to save them as a certain .jpg or size ?

I could really use some help, thanks for reading my post folks.

The program only uses .png files .....after you downloaded the pics (usually compressed in zip or rar files) unpack them to:

C:\Users\ACER\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\Franchise Hockey Manager 2014\data\saved_games\>your game name<.lg\graphics\player_pics

if you still got problems let us know

I use this alot for screenies for beta testing, and it's easy and free. You can change size and file format with ease:

Photoscape : Free Photo Editing Software (Photo Editor) Download

This reminds me: batch files. If you need to convert a ton of jpgs to png, or any other format, I would suggest using this:

IrfanView - Official Homepage - one of the most popular viewers worldwide

If you need help converting, post here and I'll step you through it. It may look daunting but you'll get the hang of it pretty quick.

I'm trying to resize the pictures to 170 x 154 like the rest of the pictures in the game but it seems to NOT be working right lol. Is there something I'm doing wrong ? The pic looks overly crunched down and out of proportion for the size of what the pictures in the game are set at. haha

I used the photoscape but it seems to be resizing it differently then what the other pictures are set at, with the same 170 x 154 specs.

I did use the Infraview program as well but it will not save the resized picture to the 170x154 for some odd reason.

In Infraview, is the Preserve Aspect Ratio checkbox...well, checked?

edit: just tried it out with a logo and it came out to 170x154, just the way it should.

Okay, but if you DO run into a snag, just post here and I'll post a step-by-step. I use these programs constantly. Believe me, it's idiot proof. I'm living proof of that.
