Two-Way Player
Has anyone ever had a player that was a good SP and also a good hitter? I drafted a player a few years ago and he is a stud when it comes to pitching and hitting. I was thinking about starting him every 5 game and then on days where he doesn't pitch, I would put him into the lineup. Are there any downsides to this (other than injury)?
I do realize his rating at CF is pretty low, but I'm willing to risk bad defense for a year or two for his bat. |

He's from Warren, Maine
That's like three towns over from where I live. I'm pretty sure that there's never even been a mediocre college ballplayer from Warren, never mind a potential MLB superstar! Heck doubt there's ever been a decent Maine level HS player... Last edited by Lukas Berger; 02-12-2014 at 01:58 AM. |

Painmantle's mini-guide is a pretty good description of how to handle two-way players:
