Hi Markus (and everyone)

Has there been a list of what's new in version 25?

I was just wondering what we can expect as far as improvements, enhancements, or changes.

To be clear, I'm purchasing the game no matter what; I just wanted some specifics to look forward to!

I assume with the partnership of the BBHOF, a better/more robust ability to import/play NEL will likely be included, which would be great news imo.

Negro Leagues. I also hope they jazzed up the Winter meetings much like they did to the trade deadline in the last version. Currently the Winter Meetings is just basically another day on the calendar, like the trade deadline was before they made it more of an event. My hope is similar for the Winter Meetings which IRL has become a pretty big event I think.

It would be super cool if the league totals updated to account for additional NEL players. As it stands, too many additional power hitters at once means Babe Ruth will be lucky to hit 30 HR in a season.

I'm still hoping for a team relocation wizard of some kind. Something similar to the expansion wizard that walks through the process, and creates a news story. As a feature, it could play out over a season with a league study, cities lobbying for a team, owner votes, stadium design, etc, etc. You could even have disgruntled owners threatening to move for various reasons.

Would love quick exhibition tournaments where you can save setup or download community created tournaments.

I really hope that one of these years they completely overhaul stadiums and how they’re financed and built, how they age, the impacts they have on attendance and fan support, etc. They’re so important in real life and they basically don’t exist in the game beyond how they affect player statistics.

I have been saying this for 15 years now…so, I guess you could take that for what it’s worth. Not to beat a dead horse, but these type of “role playing” front office management features just don’t seem to be a high priority. PT and historical replay simulation really seems where more of the focus is currently.

I mean just a simple (PLAYOFFS) text on the field would really take emersion to a new level and maybe some fireworks at the end of world series to add with the player celebration.

This stuff goes a long way.
