appears to be an issue with the text box that has the numbers in it (so number of times won award, number of messages in the in box...).

I am guessing if the Steam workshop skin files are not updated to whatever was used in the patch, that should solve the issue.

and the priority exclamation icon.

i reported this as a bug. Gaps and multiple MVP and Silver Slugger awards but no number shows for them

so I read through that and did it (worth a shot), and this time I "installed them from within the game (last time just copied and pasted). In fact I let the game re-acquire original skins first, then downloaded from workshop and installed, I also didn't add any of my custom icons in, just left everything default but deleted the .bin file so it would use all the downloaded images.

long story short, same issue, black boxes. So as I said before it has to be that those downloaded skin files are missing something that was added in the patch, something with that red box... we will just have to wait for new skin files to be uploaded (I think the ones up there were from beta).

According to Markus, the Steam files work fine. I'm thinking you may need to delete everything in the Skin folder of your choosing, download and install the Steam skin files and see if that works. Didn't for me, but - shrug -I must have done something wrong or overlooked something. Not the first time I've heard, "Works for Me."

yeah already did that, its odd because it only became an issue after the patch and I am not the only one with the issue

strange thing is that I am not putting my custom images in, I am just using the downloaded files and it still gives me the black boxes.

if I delete all skin files and let steam re-acquire them it works fine, delete out all downloads, re-download skins from game, install, delete .bin file, and boom black boxes again...

Although it’s not being considered one, I’d post in the bug forum. It is one for you. Maybe they’ll offer different advice or ask for information I couldn’t offer.
I’ll be trying the other skin later tonight using the method you described and try to document my maneuver; see if I get similar results.

Well, just finished the trial. Tried everything with Steam. Cleaned house, deleted files, folders, etc... you name it. Re-downloaded. Black boxes. Black boxes.

Not until I deleted it all, pasted in the Add Ons Central skin files (this time it was the Classic skin), did I restore normalcy. I give up. This seems to me the only answer.
