Curiosity killed the cat.

Hope it doesn't kill me.

What does it mean in the sidebar if it says, "Infractions 1/0 (0)". I don't recall coming across this before.

At some point a forum moderator gave you an infraction of some kind for something. The forum software keeps track of that indefinitely, even long after whatever penalty you received expired.

You should be able to find out more by checking your profile. Don't worry, this information isn't visible to anyone but yourself or moderators. At least I would be very surprised if it was.

I didn't have it. I saw it on another's profile. Struck me as odd, as I'm not an admin or anything like it.

Yeah I have it on mine. Sad to say, way back in the day I tended to imbibe and think I was a lot smarter than I actually am. I also would get a poddy mouth. Ugh! embarrassing. I also got a warning for quoting someone else that swore...now that one was kind of silly, but it was against the rules.
