Expansion Help

I am new to trying to play with an expansion team and apparently I don't know how to do it. I started a standard game and did not pick team. I went to the league settings and scheduled expansion and the expansion draft After that, I went to the manager screen and chose "Act As Manager" of one of my expansion teams. However, the computer keeps signing personnel including a manager and general manager. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

This has happened to me before and there's an easy fix. "Act As Manager" only gives you partial control. You'll want to go to Manager-->Available Jobs and then click on the one you want. That'll install you as fully in control (depending on how you like to set your manager options page).
