Do I have to have a Steam account?

I just bought FHM3 for my Mac. The only license key I got was for a steam activated game, not a FHM3-XXXX etc key. I dont know what steam is or does and would rather not have to ope a steam account. How do I get a regular license key to open my game?

Did you buy the game on the OOTP site, or on Steam?

If you bought it on the OOTP site, then you need nothing to do with Steam. Download the installer, and when prompted, enter your license key.

i bought it via the site, BUT the email i got from eseller doesnt have the correct FHM3-XXXX etc key...its a key for steam. i guess ill just go at eseller directly

We sell both versions from our site, sounds like you ordered the Steam version by mistake.

Check with steam@ootpdevelopments.com to see if we can process a refund or if you have to go through steam (you may have to go through steam). Then try re-ordering the esellerate version through our site. It's the top option on the FHM3 catalog screen, the one with the blue graphic. The Steam version has the gold graphic.
