Fantastic stuff. Curious on what kind of settings did you use? Also, is the game easy to install?

You can do either. For this sim I selected to have them develop with the sim engine. If you want them to debut and retire as they did in real life with ratings recalculated each year to give you more historical accuracy you can choose that option instead.

Nolan was taken 5th in the 1990 draft by Buffalo behind Derian Hatcher, Martin Brodeur, Dan McGillis and Petr Nedved. He played most of his career in Buffalo on some fairly bad Sabres teams that never made the playoffs. Was then moved to Chicago for Rene Bourque and made the playoffs for the first time in his career with the Blackhawks but they lost in the first round. Then he spent 3 seasons in Atlanta, playing just 4 more playoff games before ending his career where it started with the Sabres. Played just 1 game less in the sim than the 1200 he did in real life. He had 840 sim points compared to 885 real life. Was no where near his real life PIM total of 1793.

Hakan Loob was taken 34th overall by Colorado(New Jersey) in 1979 but he did not crack the lineup full-time until 1982-83. A broken hand derailed his first full season and injuries would be the story of much of his career.
Jagr was another player who suffered an injury that cost him the backend of his career. He tore his elbow up in the 03-04 playoffs and did not return until late in the 2004-05 season only to suffer a fractured wrist. The Hurricanes did not resign him after that injury and he did not get another shot at the NHL until age 39 with the Wild. He did play a big role on a pair of Cup winning clubs, notching 72 points while teaming with Joe Sakic (41-49-90) and Milan Hejduk (24-44-68) on the 03-04 team. Jagr had 9 points in 9 games that post-season before the elbow injury that cost him 11 months. the 95-96 Whalers Cup winner had an outstanding first line with Sakic (44-71-115), Yzerman (45-68-113) Jagr (41-55-96) and defensemen Gary Suter (11-52-63) and Phil Housley (15-45-60). It was Jagr's best season points-wise but again he was injured in the playoffs and limited to just 12 postseason games. Bossy was drafted 5th overall by Detroit in 1978. He was the first forward taken after 4 defensemen: Doug Wilson, Barry Beck, Rod Langway and Gordie Roberts. He had 63 points as a rookie and won the Calder Trophy. He then followed that up with 7 straight 100plus point seasons and was a 3 time 50 goal scorer. The Wings had a few deep playoff runs during Bossy's reign with the team but won just 1 Stanley Cup - in 1979-80. Bossy did win the Conn Smythe Trophy, but not in 79-80. Instead he won it in 84-85 when he scored 11 goals and 30 points in 20 games but the Wings lost to Montreal in the finals. Bossy finished 3rd alltime in Red Wing career points with 1314, trailing Stan Mikita (1368) and Barry Pederson (1351). He only led the NHL in goal scoring once and in points once (1981-82). Detroit dealt him to Calgary for Joe Cirella in 1990 and he was moved to Winnipeg the following season in exchange for Mike McPhee. His 1326 career points place him 21st alltime and his 493 goals are good for 35th.

Bobby Clarke spent his entire career as a Philadelphia Flyer. His career was quite similar to his real life one although he did spend a couple of seasons on the reserve roster before breaking into the NHL at age 23 but on the other end he played one more season than he did in real life. The Flyers got him with the second pick of the 1970 draft after the Pittsburgh Penguins elected to take Butch Goring number one.
The Flyers had some good teams during Clarke's tenure as he teamed with Guy Lafleur and later a young Jari Kurri but they never won a Cup. Bobby Orr was taken first overall by the Rangers in 1967 with Ken Dryden going second. Orr won 5 Hart Trophy's as MVP and 5 Norris Awards as the top blueliner. He never broke the 100 point plateau in a season but was in the 90s twice. He led the Rangers to a pair of Stanley Cup titles in 1970 and 1972 and won the Conn Smythe on both occassions as he had 25 points in 21 games in 1970 and 31 playoff points in 19 games in 1972. Part of the reason for the lower point total could have been the absence of Phil Esposito. Instead of Espo, Orr was dishing the puck to the likes of Danny Grant, Pete Mahovlich, Jean Pronovost and Bruce MacGregor in New York. Decent players but not like Espo-Hodge-Cashman of the real-life Bruins. The Rangers traded him to Winnipeg for Craig Ludwig and Paul Stewart in 1981 and he would suffer some injuries late in his career including an eye injury that cost much of a season - and he spent the following year on the reserve roster.
