will this game ever be an accurate simulation?
i bought this game about a year ago now i think, and every update i hope the one thing that is fixed is the salary cap.
Can we have a salary cap that updates daily in game? can we have a game that recognizes that salary cap and salary are NOT the same things? can we have running cap totals for use at the deadline? (cap space at the start of the year is NOT the same as cap space in feb) this game should literally copy capgeek's algorithms and formulas and it would make it 10x more enjoyable and realistic. how much cooler would this game be if it revolved around these key dates: June 15 at 5 p.m. ET: First deadline for club-elected salary arbitration June 16: First buyout period opens June 24: NHL awards June 25-30: UFA interview period June 26-30: RFA interview period June 27-28: NHL entry draft June 30: Setting of upper/lower limits. June 30 at 5 p.m. ET: Deadline for qualifying offers/First buyout period closes July 1 at noon ET: UFA/RFA signing period begins (including offer sheets) July 5 at 5 p.m. ET: Deadline for player-elected salary arbitration July 5 at 5 p.m. ET: Deadline for RFA offer sheets for first group of club-elected arbitrations July 6 at 5 p.m. ET: Second deadline for club-elected salary arbitration July 15 at 5 p.m. ET: Qualifying offers expire July 20: Salary arbitration begins Aug. 4: Salary arbitration ends |
